Shoot for the Skyy
Yesterday (06/27/2004) I hiked to the Mendenhall Glacier where I used my ice axe to create the perfect ice cube, I brought it home and used Skyy to make the perfect martini.

On 06.23.04 I was witness to a very nice sunset which included the presence of orca. Oh how I love orca, almost as much as I love taking pictures of them.
Today I climbed Mt. McGinnis, oh what a good time it was, however, I did forget my film card for my camera, so I have no pictures, I suppose I will have to do it again.this is something I just read relateing to my climb. I certainly suggest, to one and all, a trip to Juneau Alaska. It is such a wonderful place.
To mark the longest day of the year, and upon my northern latitude, the longest day of my life, I went exploring under the Mendenhall glacier. This is a picture of the cave that took me there. It was quite something.
This morning I awoke to the sound of my phone ringing. It was my father, informing me of the death of a long time friend whom I had know since childhood. It is a very sad day.
Tony, I will miss you. Rest in peace.
I took this picture today, 06.15.2004, it is one of my favorite splashes in the ocean. It is of a dall’s porpoise, which happens to be the fastest swiming cetacean in the sea with a top speed of 38 knots. Needless to say this was a tough shot to get, well worth the 14 hour shift I put in to grab it ![]()
“Top undergraduates are arrogant; they lack perspective,” says Benton. “They’ve been fawned over all their lives, and they think grad school is there to help them realize their potential, not to use them up and toss them out.” I came to this link through my friend’s page” (he is a Phd Philosophy student at cuny). I am more glad now than ever to be in Alaska.
