I just watched the film City of God, certainly two thumbs up. It is the story of the slums of Rio and the violence that makes them tick, told through the lens of a teenager trying to escape by means of his camera. It is quite a profound testament to what occurs when people treat others as objects and means to their ends. Evil with a child’s face.
