atrophy

I think that my brain has experienced atrophy in terms of writing in english in the past few months. It is not that I have not wanted to write but it is as though I have been unable. That is a lame excuse but I think that perhaps it has a 50/50 chance of being the truth. In any event I don’t do a lot of english writing these days.

The summer of 06′ has been one of the best summers I can remember. The sun has shown 75% of the time, the people I have asscociated with have been cool 80% of the time and I have done something interesting 90% of the time. I can’t say that I regret for a moment spending another summer in Garmisch Germany.

The one thing I do regret is not keeping a better record of all of the fantastic things that I have been able to do. One of the most pleasant things though has been being able to meet nearly every morning with my group of friends at Hobis bakery for coffee, baked goods and people watching. It would not be unreasonable to say that I have spent nearly an hour a day engaged in this task. An hour a day that I wouldn’t trade for any thing. The reason I regret not writeing down what happens when it happens is that now looking back I don’t know where to start the process of remembering. What a bummer. I will just have to deal.

The future though looks extreamly bright. September 4th - 8th I am going to Switzerland to climb the Jungfrau and the moench in the oberbernese alps. Then on the 23rd-28th I am going to the netherlands to do a 500km 24 hour race on my road bike. IT SHOULD BE FANTASTIC. I rule.
